I use these as hand/face towels and bought 2 dozens because I like having a fresh towel every time. Used ones accumulate inside the hamper to be laundered with the rest of the family laundry. These towels are thin, very soft and inexpensive. I've never used towels with bamboo before, and was very impressed with its softness - feels even better than 100% cotton to me. Pretty much every single one of these came with one or three loose threads - which I carefully scissored away to prevent tearing with use (so taking away one star). I cannot comment on longevity at all, but with after a month of use (meaning several washings) - they are holding up and still as soft as ever.My son has autism and needs a lot of oral stimulation. He would chew through his shirts and his shirt would be wet from all the chewing. After washing these towels, they fluffed up thick and so soft. They absorb so much liquid that it’s been a keeper for my son to chew on instead of his shirts.A bit pricey but at least you get a super soft product. My son loves them.Very soft. If used repeatedly, some washcloths get stiff, hard, but these don't.No complaints they are sturdyPerfect for the price. Not the thickest but definitely soft. It was the size I was looking for so works totally for me. If you want a small face towel that is a travel size this is your cloth! The material is so soft that I didn’t expect it to be absorbent, but it it blots up liquid very well. Washed once so far - no lint - kept color.I got my order and they're 1" less than advertised. I just appreciate an honest description.
