Washcloth has no decorative stripe or area that is not usable, the whole square is usable! Seemed a bit thin until it thickened up when wet - not a thick as ones that are like a small towel, but a nice medium thickness. It is not mushy soft when wet, it actually does not feel like 100% cotton, it has a slight roughness, which feels great on the skin, like it is exfoliating a bit!I was impressed with the quality of these organic cotton washcloths, I ordered just the washcloths to test how they stood up to washing, drying and daily use, while I haven't had them long enough to comment on their durability, I like the texture and the softness of them.Great but next time I may get a little bigger size. I was going to return it but then decided I wanted to support the organic people on here so, I ended up keeping one of them. The one I unwrapped. I was trying to get rid of all of the dies touching my skin, this is my goal for 2020. I haven’t succeeded but companies like this make it actually possible. So I would recommend Supporting these types of things. I just wish I’d gotten a bigger oneI received the supposedly 20"x40" towel today. It appears smaller than I thought so I pulled out a tape measure to check, and it was only 20"x30" (see my attached photos)!! I purposefully bought this particular towel because my mother was looking for a towel size somewhere between a common hand towel (18x30ish) and a common bath towel (30x50ish). It turned out to be just like any common hand towel, and an expensive one at that. I don't bother looking at anything else about the towel's quality because the blatant lie has already left a bad taste.By far the best Turkish towel compared with the four I’ve ordered before discovering Coyuchi brand.
